This year's Police Day will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 (rain or shine) from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at 2485 North Service Road West, Oakville
The day-long celebration of policing in Halton Region offers visitors an opportunity to learn first-hand about law enforcement through a series of interactive displays and presentations.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp.
This year's theme is Proudly Supporting Our Police
Highlights and activities of the day will include:
Tactical rescue demonstrations
K9 Demonstrations
Police motorcycle demonstrations
Children's Safety Village tours
HRPS Pipes & Drums
Interactive displays
Inflatables "jumpy castles"
Live bands
BBQ
Indoors, guests will be treated to numerous booths with information about emergency services, diversity, and volunteering and recruiting opportunities.
Free parking is available at the north side of Headquarters and the south side of Headquarters, off North Service Road. |
